Lawrence Township’s PreK–8 public school and a New Jersey School Choice district.
Township information states that Lawrence students may attend Bridgeton High School, Millville Senior High School, or the Cumberland County Technical Education Center, depending on program and placement.

Lawrence Township was incorporated on February 17, 1885 from portions of Fairfield Township. The municipality was named for Captain James Lawrence, commander of the USS Chesapeake during the War of 1812.
Its modern identity remains tied to agriculture. Sheppard Farms has operated in Cedarville since 1888, while other produce growers, nurseries and packing operations continue a long local farming tradition.
